Our History
Jones & Jones Funeral Home and Betts Funeral Service were merged in September of 2007. Jones & Jones was originally founded by D.W. Jones in Coulee City in 1903 before he and his wife established a permanent Wenatchee funeral home in 1914. Betts Funeral Service was established in 1948 and has always been locally owned. The purchase by the Precht family, owner of Betts since 1985, returned Jones & Jones to local ownership after a dozen years as a part of a large international corporation. The Precht family has been in the funeral business since 1940.
A staff of caring professional funeral service providers have made Jones & Jones~Betts "the thoughtful choice." Jones & Jones~Betts serves all faiths, providing local, statewide, national and international service to cemeteries and mausoleums.
Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home's facility features the largest chapel of any North Central Washington funeral provider. The classic Tudor style architecture of the home, and nicely decorated interior, gives loved ones a comforting environment. Abundent on-site parking provides added convenience for family and friends who attend survices.
