Dorothy Helen (Sandhop) Glore

Dorothy Helen (Sandhop) Glore left her Arvada, Colorado home and peacefully entered her eternal home on February 2, 2025. Dorothy was born on August 25, 1924, in Wenatchee, Washington. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and remained faithful to that commitment all her life. "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies." She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1942. As a young woman, she worked at Centennial Flouring Mills until she met and married Jack Glore of Greencastle, Indiana. They had three children: Fred, John, and Connie. Dorothy lived her life wisely, always putting the ways of God first. She will always be remembered for her humility, generosity, kindness, and forbearance towards others. She was a gentle and genuine soul. Who she was as a person is what made her life special. Children brought her great joy, particularly her grandchildren, Kyra, Andrew, and Katherine (Katie). They were inspired and strengthened by her never-ending support and unconditional love. They will truly miss their "Nana" and will hold dear her memory forever. Dorothy was a faithful Christian, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. The love she brought to others will never be forgotten. She will always have a special place in the hearts and minds of those who knew her and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Luella (Kuhlman) Sandhop; husband, Jack Glore; sons, Fred Glore and John Glore; sister, Betty Privette; and brothers, Herbert Sandhop and James Sandhop. She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Gordon) Ramstead of Hamilton, MT; daughter-in-law, Antoinette Glore of Arvada, CO; daughter-in-law, Dawn Glore of Nine Mile Falls, WA; grandchildren: Kyra (Scott) Moulton of Colorado Springs, CO; Andrew Ramstead of Salt Lake City, UT; and Katherine Ramstead of Hamilton, MT. There at my Savior's side, Heav'n is my home, I shall be glorified, Heav'n is my home. There are the good and blest, Those I love most and best; And there I, too, shall rest, Heav'n is my home. T.R.
