Inez I Tupling

Inez left this earth October 15, 2011, after a difficult battle with kidney failure and cancer to join the love of her life, T.H. Tupling. She was born in Seattle on October 29, 1942 to David “Shanghai” and Mavis Gilmore. When she was 10 years old, her family moved to and settled in Bridgeport, Wash. In 1960 she married Davis Mills. She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1961. Davis was killed in a tragic car accident in 1968. In 1971 she married the love of her life, T.H. Tupling and they blended their families into one. Inez and T.H. took great pride in their unified family. Inez loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, kitties, cooking, baking, candy making, yard work, flower arranging and taking care of T.H. and their family. She cooked harvest meals most of her life and enjoyed it immensely. Inez is survived by her sisters, Heather Duncan of Waitsburg, Wash. and Sherri “Butch” Thomas of Spokane; children Cassandra Padron of San Antonio, Texas and Wayne Tupling, Mike (Jackie) Tupling, and Patti (Ken) Peters, all of Mansfield; grandchildren Zachary (Tiffany) Lawson, Adam (Mary) Lawson, Aaron Lawson, Amanda (Jesse) Shafer, T.J. Tupling, Cassidy Tupling, Mikia (Brian) Schmidt, Mikki (Thane) Lamar, Mishell Tupling, Kimber (Joe) Smith, Cortney Peters and Cameron Peters; great-grandchildren Starr, Tommy, Tabby, Carter and Evalee; in-laws Raymond (Carolyn), Bob (Barbara), Norman (Marilyn) and Phyllis; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Rosie, Janelle (Larry), Mary Lee, Bud, Brad and Judy. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Davis Mills, grandson Caleb J. Powers, husband T.H. Tupling, son-in-law Raymond Padron and special friend Sandy Martin. Heartfelt thanks to her children, grandchildren and special caregivers in her final days. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Caleb J. Powers Memorial Scholarship Fund at any North Cascades National Bank (NCNB) branch. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Mansfield Cemetery.
