Judy Skinner

Judith (Judy) Skinner Judy G. (Reed) Skinner, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026. Judy was born to Nadine (Goodman) and Charles Reed in Walla Walla, Washington and was primarily raised by her loving grandparents Virgil and Margaret Goodman. She received her education from Walla Walla High School, Columbia Basin Community College and Washington State University. While at college, she met the love of her life, Donald Skinner. They shared 52 wonderful years of marriage together until his passing in 2017. While living in Seattle, daughter Chanin was born and after moving to Wenatchee, son Shawn was born. Judy’s working career included office administration for several local churches and real estate offices, Counselor for Planned Parenthood and teaching in the business department at Wenatchee High School. She was also the valuable support behind Don’s businesses. Judy enjoyed working on the family genealogy for over 40 years, compiling an impressive amount of research. She also loved to travel the world. Special places to enjoy with family and friends were Rincon De Guyubitos, Mexico and La Quinta, CA. Judy loved animals, especially her adored yellow labradors. In recent years her little Pomeranian, Chica, brought her endless joy. In her life Judy faced numerous serious health challenges. Despite these hardships, she met every obstacle with courage, grace, and remarkable resilience. Her faith in God carried her through, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, quiet strength and unconditional love. Judy is survived by daughter Chanin (Dave) Street, son Shawn (Sonja) Skinner, grandchildren Thane (Ali), Taylor and Troy Street, and Simone and Bryce Skinner. Great granddaughters Hadley and Clara Street. Brothers Gary Reed & Rick Gilman. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Jones and Jones Betts Chapel, 302 9th Street, Wenatchee.
