Lynn Griffith

Lynn Dee Joyce (Macarty) Griffith was born on March 3, 1944, in Wenatchee, Wa to Maxine and Fletcher “Swede” Macarty. On March 21, 2026, she passed peacefully, in the care of her loving family. At the age of 13, Lynn received what she would always call the greatest gift of her life, the birth of her little sister, Nancy. Despite the years between them, few sisters have ever shared a bond as close as theirs. Lynn attended Eastmont High School, where she was known not only for her beauty, but for her vibrant personality. At just 16 years old, she met a boy from across the river, Ron Griffith, and together they began a love story that would last over 66 years. They soon welcomed their two sons, Todd and Thad, who filled her life with adventure, laughter, and deep love. Lynn was a devoted and loving mother who never missed a game, event, or moment that mattered. Even when “her boys” as she called them were adults, she maintained a super close relationship with them. She cherished living just down the street from Todd, a simple joy that meant more time together. Thad, a notorious tease, especially loved to poke fun with Lynn, but everyone knew he was a mama’s boy through and through. Lynn had a remarkable gift for creating beauty. As a talented interior decorator and floral designer, she shared that gift with her community through her business, Lindy’s Loft, which she proudly owned and operated for over a decade. She helped countless people turn their houses into warm and welcoming homes. In 1994, her family grew again when her son Todd married Anna, and Lynn became a proud grandmother to Hailey, Carley, and Ryley, who absolutely adored her. She also held a special place in her heart for her beloved niece, Cami, Nancy’s daughter. In recent years, she was overjoyed to become a great-grandmother to four beautiful babies and treasured every moment spent with them. Lynn’s deep faith was the foundation of her life. A devoted Christian, she loved the Lord with her whole heart and lived out her faith daily. She modeled a life of grace, generosity, and unwavering love for Jesus Christ to all who knew her. She was an extremely thoughtful and generous friend, known for showering those she loved with meaningful gifts that made each person feel seen and special. Lynn found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing games, adored her dogs and had a signature style all her own, especially when it came to fashion and décor. She had a particular fondness for leopard and cheetah print and wore it with flair and confidence. Those who know her know that she was a shopper like no other. Even in the midst of illness, her sense of humor remained strong. After several weeks of being sick, she coyly asked her sister, “What do you think the people at QVC are thinking…without me ordering so much recently?” It was a moment that perfectly captured her warmth, wit, and unmistakable personality. Lynn will be remembered for her kindness, her creativity, her unwavering faith, and the deep love she poured into her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished so dearly. A celebration of Lynn’s beautiful life will be held at Moses Lake Presbyterian Church this Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by Jones and Jones-Betts Funeral Home in Wenatchee, Wa.
