Sharon Noon

Sharon Harriet Davis Noon, 83, was peacefully called home to be with Jesus, on Wednesday October 5, 2016, following her courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She resided at Mountain Meadows Memory Care in Leavenworth, Washington. Sharon was born July 11, 1933 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Stanley Weaver Davis and Naina Carol Cray Davis, the older of two children. She attended West Seattle High School in Seattle Washington, where she graduated. Sharon married a young coastguardsman, Howard Emal Jones in 1952, and was blessed with four daughters from this union. She remarried Robert Allen Noon in 1968 and was once again blessed with two sons and two daughters. After all the children were grown, Robert and Sharon sold their home and decided to purchase and live aboard a large cruising boat in Seattle, Washington, the "Hinemoa". They traveled to various ports, entertaining and sharing the love of boating, until Robert's passing in 1992. Sharon then retired to Leavenworth, Washington, immediately falling in love with the beauty of the area and the warmth and friendliness of everyone she met. Shortly after moving, Sharon brought her mother to live with her and care for until her passing in 2000. Sharon's employment through the years was quite diverse but it was always in a service capacity to others, which she always enjoyed. From a school bus driver and girl scout leader, when her children were younger, to the dining room manager at the Best Western Hotel in Leavenworth and later a licensed caregiver at Mountain Meadows Assisted Living. Her deep love of people and animals, her desire to help others and need to make a difference moved Sharon to create, "Nanny's Pet Service", a dog rescue and pet caretaking service which was owned and operated solely by Sharon for many years, until her health finally prevented her from continuing the services she was so passionate about. Sharon professed her life to Christ at an early age. She taught Sunday school and enjoyed playing piano at church. She cherished praising the Lord. She had a great love of music and dance. Sharon continued her mother's passion for learning Hula dancing and fostered the love of dance, including ballet, in her children. Sharon loved to travel and especially enjoyed two memorable cruise trips to Alaska, which she was blessed to share first with her mother then again with her daughter Lindee. Sharon's favorite time of year was spring and she had great fun gardening. She loved to read her Bible, praying for and with others, spending time with her family and friends, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. Sharon leaves to cherish her loving memory a brother, Stanley Gerald Davis, her eight children, Deborah Sha, Connie Gold, Scott Noon, Jeff Noon, Carol Rieves, Lindee Juette, Shari Stanford, Lisa Bauer, 20 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Weaver Davis, mother, Naina Carol Cray Davis, and husbands, Howard Emal Jones and Robert Allen Noon. The family gives the generous and loving staff of Mountain Meadows who cared for Sharon, their greatest gratitude. We will forever carry your memory in our hearts.
