Jack R. Carroll

April 12, 1934 - January 16, 2022

Jack R Carroll, 87 of East Wenatchee passed away Sunday January 16th, 2022 at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee Wa. He was born April 12th, 1934 in Bomarton Baylar, Texas. Besides Texas, he grew up in southern California and told many stores of the fun escapades growing up in a large family with many brothers and sisters. He married the love of his life, Barbara, in 1955. Together they moved to Wenatchee Washington where they raised their three children: Kathy, Susie and Denny. He was a union carpenter and went to work as a superintendant for GG Richardson building many Cold Storage warehouses for the Washington fruit industry. He enjoyed taking his kids to help test the rooms on a weekend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was an avid reader with his favorite author being Louis L'Amour. Jack loved watching western movies in the evenings. Jack and Barbara always had a huge garden that they would share with everyone they knew! They would donate the remaining bounty to area organizations in need. Growing up, all the grandkids loved picking and helping with their garden. He was proceeded in death by his father, mother, numerous brothers and sisters and his wife, Barbara. In addition to his children, he is survived by his grandchildren Brandon Hevly and Melissa Hevly, Kari (Seth) Mullins, James Weaver, and Devin Carroll, his great grandchildren, Trent Hevly and Gracie and Braedyn Mullins, numerouse neices and nephews and one brother, Bennie Carroll of ElCajon California. Visitation will be Monday January 31st from 4-7pm at Jones and Jones Betts Wenatchee Wa. Funeral service will be Tuesday February 1st at 10:00 am also at Jones and Jones Betts .
