ROSEMARY S BULMER (aka - Life) Rosemary Schons Bulmer May 5, 1929 - January 28, 2024 In Loving Memory of Rosemary Bulmer Rosemary Bulmer, a beacon of vitality and love, left this earth on January 28, 2024 while living at Highgate Memory Care in Wenatchee, WA. Rosemary was born in Wenatchee, WA. She was adopted by Merle F Schons, of Schons Fruit Company and Mary Lyle Paul Schons. Rosemary's life was filled with a rich collage of encounters that colored the lives of those around her. Her childhood was divided between her times at Eagle Creek Ranch and Squilchuck Ranch. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1947 and had been one of the Apple Blossom princesses. She attended 2 years at the University of Washington and was a sorority sister with Pi Beta Phi. In 1949, she married Richard (Dick) Life and had three children. In 1960, Dick & Rosemary, were part of the Marian Street residents contributing to the creation of Christmas Card Lane. In 1967 Dick & Rosemary moved to Leavenworth, WA where Dick was manager for the PUD. They were immersed in the community and helped with the development and creation of making Leavenworth the 'Bavarian' town. In 1972 Dick had taken the position of PUD manager at Chelan, WA when he succumbed to heart failure. Shortly after Dick’s death, Rosemary had returned to Wenatchee, WA. In 1978 Rosemary found love again and married Dr. Malcom Bulmer. Malcolm had six children. The family had now grown to nine children with the majority of kids now in college or married. They had a beautiful loving relationship. On numerous occasions he would bring her a bouquet of yellow roses...just because. The two of them were able to get in some traveling aboard and state side. In 1987 Rosemary had another tremendous loss when Malcolm passed away. Rosemary found love again with George Beer in 1989. George had six children. Even though they were not officially married, the love for each other was memorable. The family had now grown to 15 children with the majority of kids married and having their own children. George and Rosemary had approximately 20 years with one another before George passed away in 2019. During their time together they were able to do a great deal of traveling abroad. As time passed Rosemary's love of life encompassed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Whenever Rosemary looked back, it was to reminisce the love that she had and the family that had blended so well together. The family has requested that donations in Rosemary's honor be given to Macular Degeneration Research, PO Box 1952, Clarksburg, MD, 20871-1952.
