Rosemary Frese

On March 24, 2018, our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and grandma great was called home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior. While we miss her, we are joyful for the heavenly life she is enjoying now and forever. “We can only imagine. . .” the awesome, magnificent life she is experiencing. Born April 25, 1925 in Walla Walla, Washington, she was adopted and lovingly welcomed into the home of Blanche and Dewey Crimmins of Wenatchee. Rosemary was raised in Wenatchee, graduating from Wenatchee High School, before attending Northwest Christian College in Oregon. She was a life long member of Central Christian Church, (now Cornerstone Christian Church). Rosemary was blessed with a son, Richard and twin daughters, Laurel and Linda. In 1961, she married George Frese. George’s children Joan, Suzette, Glen and Lorene completed their blended family. Later, their first grandchild Tami, came to live with them and they raised her as well. Rosemary was a homemaker, the manager of Hatfield’s Piece Goods for many years and also assisted George as the bookkeeper for their Frese Engineering business. She served many years as a primary Sunday School teacher, Blue Bird and Camp Fire leader and was active in Soroptimist for most of her adult life. Rosemary leaves a great legacy of family and many lives she touched and influenced with her kind, gentle spirit, and generous nature. She taught us a love for the Lord and to only speak kindly of others. She did not complain, criticize or gossip. She is survived by her husband, George, of 56 years, brother Robert Crimmins, son Richard Jacobsen, daughters Laurel Fife (Jim), Linda Stuart, step-son Glen Frese (Sue), step-daughters Suzette Harkin (John), Joan Stevens, Lorene Woody (Mike), granddaughters Tami Gurnard (Joe), Brandy Jordan, Lindsay Peternell, grandsons Cameron Fife, Andy Stuart, Kevin and Tyson Jacobsen. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, Blanche and Dewey Crimmins into their heavenly home. The family would like to thank Rosemary’s caregivers, especially Laurie, Joyce and Ramona for the kindness and attention given to her during the past three years as we honored her request to remain at home. A public memorial service will be held April 20, 11:00 AM, at the Cornerstone Christian Church. John 5:24 – “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”
