About Us
We are honored to be a part of the legacy and history of the Wenatchee Valley.
While we understand the end of your loved ones life is a time for grief and mourning, at Jones Jones Betts, we also think of it as a time for appreciation, reflection and even celebration, and it is evident in everything we do. From the way we conduct services to our down to earth approach we use in serving families in our community. We are not just a funeral home. We are a close knit staff dedicated to helping others in honoring, sharing and preserving the amazing and inspirational stories that fulfill a life. Thank you for the privilege of serving your family.
Why Us?
Our staff are here to guide and support you throughout this journey
and make this process one of love, healing, and life celebration.

We are unique in that we own and operate the only local crematory facility, right here in the Wenatchee Valley. Our staff has over fifty years of combined experience in the funeral profession. This is a key component as it's important to us to provide expert guidance to the families we serve. Owner, Kevin Precht, and family are lifelong members of our community who live and work to serve North Central Washington with compassionate care. Our staff meet each family with caring, attentive and prompt service - from the initial transfer of your loved one into our care to following up with each family even after our services are no longer needed. Our goal is to create a beautiful, unique occasion, special to each person and family.
Our Story
Jones & Jones Funeral Home and Betts Funeral Service were brought together in September of 2007. Jones & Jones was originally founded by D.W. Jones in Coulee City in 1903 before he and his wife established a permanent Wenatchee funeral home in 1914. Betts Funeral Service was established in 1948 and has always been locally owned. The purchase by the Precht family, owner of Betts since 1985, returned Jones & Jones to local ownership after a dozen years as a part of a large international corporation. The Precht family has been in the funeral business since 1940, beginning with Kevin's grandfather, Henry Precht.
A staff of caring professional funeral service providers have made Jones & Jones~Betts "the local choice." Jones & Jones~Betts serves all faiths, providing local, statewide, national and international service to cemeteries and mausoleums.
Our facility features the largest chapel of any North Central Washington funeral provider. The classic Tudor style architecture of the home, and nicely decorated interior, gives loved ones a comforting environment. Abundant on-site parking provides added convenience for family and friends who attend services.
We have learned a lot over many years. Like how to present options without overwhelming. And how to meet the needs of many caring parties. The community depends on us during difficult times, and we respond in kindness, calmness and expertise. Our goal is to create a beautiful occasion, when a service is planned and to always make you feel welcome and genuinely cared for.
